Full View Please

This is my contest submission for [link] and my theme is April, which also happens to be the month I was born. I really hope I place in the competition, wish me luck.

This is the first of a small series I am starting, I am trying to draw a representaion for different times of the years and the next one is going to be May.

This was done it a couple of days of work, it stated out as a rough scetch, but I later put more time into it, I am very proud of this peice due to the fact that I used very very little photo references .

I had David [link] critique this for me, he really was a huge help, please check out his profile.

A quick description of the peice- April is typically associated with rain, so I really wanted to add some rain, I also was going for a more fantasy theme- hence the elf ear. In case you didnt know or notice the black line background it is supposed to be Black lightning, I know it is wierd but I wanted it that way. yes those are supposed to be waves and hills in the background. As a side note, I recently came up with a theme which I hope to be a recurring theme in all of my art, thanks to my friend David- I am tring to include fireflies in all submitted art from here on out. Thanks David.
